East End Buyers Guide FAQ: answers for shoppers and shop owners
Here are answers to the questions we hear most often. If yours isn't covered, send us a message from the contact form on the Business Directory page.
Is the East End Buyers Guide free for shoppers? Yes. Browsing the directory, claiming coupons, RSVPing to events and messaging businesses are all free.
How do I find a business? Open the Business Directory and search by keyword, category or town. You can also describe what you need in the "Not sure who to call?" box and we will suggest matching businesses from the directory.
How do I contact a business? Use the contact form on the business's listing, or pick the business from the form on the directory page. You will receive a copy of your message by email with a private link where you can read replies and answer back.
How do coupons work? On the Coupons & Deals page, click "Click to Claim" on a deal, then print it, share it or contact the business. Check each coupon's terms, such as "valid for a limited time only", before you redeem it.
How do I RSVP to an event? Open the Events page, press RSVP on the event you want, and enter your name, email and number of guests.
I own a business that is already listed. How do I manage it? Open the Shopkeeper Portal, create an account or sign in, then find your business and request ownership. Once our team approves the request, your dashboard lets you edit your details, hours and photos, answer messages, and publish posts and FAQs.
My business isn't listed yet. How do I add it? Use the Add Your Business page to send us your details and photos. We review each submission before it goes live.
How much does a listing plan cost? Plans start at $25 per month. See the Plans & Pricing page for every plan and what it includes, including yearly billing with two months free.
Where do customer messages go? Messages appear in the shopkeeper's dashboard inbox and are also emailed to the business's saved message email, so nothing gets missed.
